Bakhtiari Persian rug: It is a Persian rug that is produced in the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari city.  Carpet weaving is common in all cities and villages of the province.  Chaharmahal va Bakhtiari province, due to its geographical conditions and being located in a mountainous and cold region, has always been favorable for the production of handmade Persian rugs and carpet production is more important than other handicrafts.  Persian rug weaving is the most important handiwork of Bakhtiari tribe first settled in the villages, later settled in the cities.  Carpet is a luxurious means of nomadic life and reflects their dignity and pride.

 Fars Carpet: Fars knitting craft is primarily tribal art and secondarily rural art that relies on nomads.  The tribes of Fars, especially the Qashqa’i and the Khamseh tribe, are more involved in this art than the other tribes, and the villagers who live along these tribes are also engaged in the production of Persian rugs and other artifacts.
